Super8 Fun Fest 2017

Last week, me and some fellow bloggers attended Super8 Grocery Warehouse Fun Fest 2017 at the World Trade Center. It’s an annual fun fest brought to us by our friends from Super8 as their way of saying Thank You to their loyal customers.

This is actually my first time to attend and I must say that I had a blast! This Fun Fest is really fun (nyahaha!). Imagine - great deals, awesome discounts, a huge place to do your grocery plus lots of celebrities! No wonder ang daming tao at the event!!! Later on the vlog you’ll see kung gaano kadami ang mga tao.

When I told Mila that I was invited by our friends from Super8 to attend this event, she was very excited. She said okay daw kasi yung grocery na yun because aside from offering really affordable prices, the service is great as well.

I haven’t been to a Super8 grocery prior to this event but right after, I checked out their Paco branch and I must say, soooobrang okay nga! I don’t do the grocery sa bahay kasi. Me and the #FabSkye do the grocery at the mall but usually, konti lang pinapamili namin. The bulk of our grocery sa bahay, si Mila ang bahala because mall grocery prices are OA. And isang batalyon talaga kami sa bahay eh. I don’t want to go naman to the grocery stores near us na cheap kasi diosmio! Patayan talaga sa dami ng tao. Divisoria-pag-Pasko-levels.

So I’m very happy that we have Super8 near us! I could finally do the grocery! Most of the time kasi, si Mila muntanga. Hahaha! Basta cheap, keribels na. Eh ayaw ko nun talaga. I want value for money. At least now, I could shop for the items na talaga with quality at gusto ko. So yey! Also, no need to do some grocery with Skye at the mall (kasi my daughter loves grocery shopping) and another bonggang grocery. Isahan nalang at masasama ko na ang bagets kahit hoarding levels ang pag grocery na gagawin. Tuwang tuwa nga ang bagets!

Anyway, back to the event (sorry nawala ako sa topic, daldal kasi)..

Super8 Warehouse Grocery CEO and Managers

Here are the men and women behind the event. They are the one’s who tirelessly put up this event for their customers and I must say, it’s a huge success!

Daming tao. KathNiel at ALDUB levels.

Where I arrived, there are loads of people at the event already. All of them are Super8 Rewards Card members and most of them are Sari-Sari store owners. Since Super8 Warehouse Grocery offers really affordable items, madami silang sari-sari store owners na customers. Of course the sari-sari store owners want cheap items para mabenta nila.

The hall was opened by the CEO and managers of Super8 plus representatives from the biggest names in retail here in the Philippines like Unilever, San Miguel, Colgate-Palmolive, etc. Ang sosyal nga ng ribbon-cutting, buzzer! Jotomatics bes!!

This year’s theme is Bida Ka Sa Savings Serye. And sooobrang cute because the booths inside the venue are teleserye themed as well. Pinaghandaan talaga at pinag effortan. So good job to Super8 and the retailers who joined!

Pinoy telenovela talaga! May Captain Alaska, Pinoy Big Brands (Nestle), You’re My Home, Forever More (Del Monte), Rebisco Ang Munting Prinsesa, and a whole lot more! Sobrang nakakatuwa just looking at the booths and their designs. Ang saya!!

But of course, nanlaki ang mata ko at na-agit talaga ako when I saw their awesome deals and super daming discounts! Hindi ako magkanda-ugaga. Kaya pala sobrang daming tao. Because super worth it ang pagpunta because of the great deals. Discounts left and right. Puro SALE ang nakikita ko! I was texting my husband and Mila and I was telling them how mura everything is. Naloka ako! Buti nalang di pa kami nakakapag grocery that time. So alam nyo na! May hoarding na naganap!!

Mila was very excited especially when I mentioned that I was given the Super8 rewards card. Hahahaha! Pag uwi ko, ginamit agad.

I’m a rewards card fanatic. Hahaha! Meron ako ata lahat ng rewards cards because heller? The points! And I love Super8’s rewards card kasi madali ang point system nila and very straight forward ang pag-redeem. They also have special promos for their rewards card members. I swear! Super saya mag earn ng points. And since ganun din naman because we do grocery all the time and we spend money, so why not earn points from the gastos na pwedeng gamitin after diba?

Another super good thing about Super8 is that they also have a mobile app now. You could directly check your rewards points (no need to ask the cashier or customer service for your points), get exclusive promos and discount updates.

It’s very obvious that Super8 Grocery Warehouse really wants their customers to have a great shopping experience. Super service talaga.

We had the chance to talk to Mr. Alvin Lim (Super8 CEO), Mr. Armand Mendoza (Super8 GM), and Mr. Jay Dy (Circle K Admin Manager) and they echo what I have already witnessed and assumed - that Super8 is dedicated to give their customers a full service and a wonderful experience. Sabi nga ni Mr. Lim, sa panahon ngayon di nalang talaga basta mura okay na. Filipinos are now willing to spend for good service and experience. Which is true. Pero syempre, we all want value for money as well. And I guess dun pasok na pasok ang Super8.

They make sure that they offer “warehouse prices” and superb service. Gumagawa sila ng way para masiguradong mura padin ang bilihin ng hindi kailangan i-disregard ang service to customers.

The company is very innovative and is always finding ways to get ahead and connect with their customers. For someone who breathes IT, I totally understand him and I agree 100%.

So yes, Super8 loyal customer na po ako. Simply because I believe on the brand’s vision and I appreciate the efforts they are doing to make sure that they give the best experience to their customers.
