Last Friday, I spent the special non-working holiday celebrating Taiwan Excellence Day and it was beyond awesome!
SM Aura Convention Center is full-packed that day with media, guests and consumers who wants to check out the products being featured by our top Taiwan brands bearing the Taiwan Excellence Seal of approval.
The are loads of products on display and I really just can't stop checking them out. There are brands I am familiar with and some I'm not and is very glad I discovered.
The first thing that intrigued me is this Opro9 Smart Diaper. It's a diaper monitor that you could connect to your phone and check via an app.
It'll tell you it it's time to change the diaper, the temperature, the humidity, everything! So fun and so convenient. I hope they have this noon. Daya! It could've made things life easy.
Another brand that got my attention is Tatung. They have loads of nice and smart home appliances. I wanna get everything. They'll be perfect for our future kitchen. Diba?
There are other brands and products too. There's something for everybody talaga.
The fitness enthusiasts would love these bike.
While this is every gamer's dream PC. All fast and perfect.
And of course, ASUS smart phones. ASUS have established themselves as one of the favorite brands for smart phones here in the Philippines with their nice camera phones, good quality and really innovative.
Aside from the product displays, there was a talk by some of the brand representatives where they showcased what their brands are in store for all of us.
The program started with a dance number to get everybody's attention.

Then the director of Taiwan Trade welcomed us all and gave a little message. She explained why they decided to have a Taiwan Excellence Day and all the nice things that happened since they first launched here in the Philippines.

Then the Director of Economic Division of TECO speaks about how it is very timely to get into the Philippine market considering the boom in our economy.
Taiwan Excellence had fruitful and very successful years in the Philippines and it's good on both countries - Taiwan and the Philippines.
People from ASUS, Gigabyte and Atop Industrial Networking and Computing System also gave us a glimpse of what to expect in the future.
Asus has a line of innovative computers and cellphones that cater to everybody. Gigabyte's line of gamer's PC would surely make every gamer happy and Atop's products for infrastructure is surely a glimpse of the future.
Overall it was an interesting day for me. And as a mum and a software architect, these are the things I really wanna see. Innovative products that will make our lives easy.
