Life Lately and our Dream Home

Currently sitting at a nearby coffee shop, waiting for the #FabSkye's dismissal. I got the laptop with me coz we're going straight to my office for our company's Trick or Treat event later.

Since the #FabSkye started with big school, this has been my daily grind. We would wake up really early for her 7:45 class, thank heavens the school is just 10 minutes away from our home. Her Tatay would usually bring her to class and I'd be in charge with picking her up. Or minsan if pwede pumuslit si Tatay sa work nya, he would pick her up na din. But on Fridays, kasi hello coding kami, we would usually take a tricycle going to school tapos I would wait nalang at a nearby coffee shop. Ang mahal kasi ng tric and hassle if I go home pa.

Pag uwi sa bahay, we would change clothes, fix her school stuff and I would feed her already before going to work. Then I'd go home kinda late (coz late na ko pumasok) and we would talk before going to bed or play or sing. At dahil pregnant ako, I would usually have difficulty sleeping. Pero the next day, I'd still be up by 6:30AM.

I am even lucky because the ReigningTatay is such a hands on dad. He would feed the #FabSkye and give her a bath. Pag akyat sa room, I just have to prep her to school and tali ng buhok and everything. Prep din ng baon. Tapos sya na maghahatid sa bagets sa school.

Dati, lahat yun from feeding her hanggang paghatid, I would do it. But then this pregnancy happened and I just can't afford to move about. Honestly, kahit nahihirapan ako I still feel very lucky kasi nga I have a husband who helps me. My managers and team mates are all very understanding. And I have a job that gives us a little flexibility.

Sa totoo lang we can't afford talaga na mag relax relax these days. First, because there's a baby coming and second because we have mortgages to pay. Aside from our car loan, we are also getting a house.

Yep, early this year we've finally decided to get a house and lot. For me, the location is super okay even if it's in Cavite. Hopeful din kasi ako sa Build Build Build kaya I was thinking, sakto sya pag ready na kaming tumira sa aming dream home. Hopefully, we have better roads by that time and we could enjoy our house na talaga without worrying about traffic.

Ayoko kasi talaga ng condo. For someone like us, who's building a family, house talaga dapat. Condo living is gonna be difficult in the long run, atleast for us. But getting a house here in the Metro is super expensive. Ang kaya lang talaga namin is condo but no-no nga sya for us. Buti nalang talaga Build Build Build promises better roads, okay na yun for us.

Grabe. Super natutuwa ako and very excited for our future home. I know it's not easy and I'm bracing myself for all the gastos but heck! Just hearing my daughter talk about her future pink princess room just makes me want to work triple hard. I am now looking at pegs, asking about prices and of course tipid tipid for the house. Though tag team naman kami ni Tatay with the payments. But still, because I am me, I still need to ipon for all the kaartehan that I am planning to buy.

Oh well, I need to go back to the #FabSkye's school na to pick her up. It feels great to blog again. :) Na-miss ko mag chicka!
