Being an Althea Angel has it's perks, and my favorite is definitely being able to get first dibs on the latest K-beauty products and K-beauty lines like Althea A'Bloom .
And so I was sent this stash of products that contains applicator puffs, mask sheets and a blackhead remover for me to try and share to you guys. So, here we go.
First on the list are the A'Bloom Mask Sheets (180Php/10sheets or 20Php/sheet) in 4 different variants:
- Sparkle-Me-Bright Brightening Lemon Lime Mask Sheet – it's a brightening mask that clarifies and brightens dull skin. With a double dose of Vitamin C from lemon and lime extracts to banish dark spots, and green tea to boost brightening while calming the skin. Key ingredient includes Niacinamide, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract.
- AC-Me-Peach Anti Blemish Peach Mask Sheet - it's an anti-blemish mask that purifies and soothes irritated and sensitive skin. Infused with peach extracts and tea tree oil to regulate oil, balance moisture and purify for softer smoother skin. Key ingredient includes Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract.
- Avo-Cuddle-Me Nourishing Avocado Mask Sheet - it is rich in antioxidants to nourish and protect skin from harmful environmental factors and prevent wrinkles. Also infused with avocado extracts and hibiscus for soft supple skin that glow. Key ingredient includes Adenosine, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract.
- Water-Me-Long Moisturizing Watermelon Mask Sheet - packs a punch of hydration and moisturization. A delicious drink for skin with watermelon extract and added lavender to calm the senses. Key ingredient includes Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract
Out of the 4, my favorites are definitely the Lemon Lime and Moisturizing Watermelon variants. The watermelon mask sheet is specially refreshing especially with the Manila summer heat. I find the masks effective and really affordable. Something my face really longs for after a long day.
Now the BHA Blackhead Blaster (200Php) was given to my brother with oily skin and has blackhead problems. This no-pain blackhead and whitehead removal stick is just for him. With Natural BHA, this stick melts away impurities and prevents future breakouts.
All you have to do is apply it directly on the target areas right after cleansing and gently massage in a circular motion then rinse with lukewarm water. If you want to deep cleanse, you can try placing a warm towel on your skin BEFORE using this product to open up the pores.
My brother and her girlfriend loves this product because of the instant result. Also, because this product is so gentle on sensitive skin.
My personal favorite out of all the products are the Baby Meringue Puffs (140Php for 3pcs) and the Giant Meringue Puff (100Php).
These applicator puffs are so soft and really versatile. I specifically love the baby puff's size because they are perfect to use on my undereye and the sides of my nose.
The wet puff is almost twice the size of the dry puff and is perfect when applying concealer, and foundation while I use the dry puff when applying cream blush or cheek tints.
I really love how soft it is on the face and it doesn't get distorted even when I try to squeeze it hard.
I actually prefer sponge and puff as make up tool instead of brush as I find it easier to use and I get better results. So I've already tried quite a lot. And I must say that for this price range, this is one of the best puff there is on the market.
